Goose in The Caboose Productions

Hey everyone, thought I would show the progress on my Atlas Barb's Bungalow kit. The plan for this is to eventually have a full interior and lighting, but in the meantime, the plan is to do the exterior walls and leave the roof removable both for the future interior/lighting and so I can show it off when it's finished.

India Ink wash on the foundation to give it a nice, "lived in" look. Should blend in really nice with finished scenery.

Some Tamiya tape put over the windows and then carved to fit with an Exacto knife

The front side and glue edges taped off. The back will be spray painted black with a good 'ol rattle can first before I go back and use paint.net to edit and print some 50's wallpaper for the interior.

I've already painted the interior walls black and I'm working on the wallpaper. I'll show all that in the next post when I get it finished. Until then, thanks for looking and God Bless!!!

Nice start

Nice start.  One suggestion- I can’t tell from the photos, but if you haven’t already done so and are going to “wall paper” and/or paint the interior walls, you may want to sand down the part numbers along with any other non-essential protrusions and fill in the recessed ejector pin holes. That way the inteior walls will be nice and smooth for the next steps.

Stupid mistake

Huh. True, I reckon that was a pretty goofy mistake. Thank-you for pointing that out, I'll go back and get the spots sanded down before I put the wallpaper on.
