I did not get as much done on my bench work as I planned mostly due to the lack of materials to work with.

However I did manage to get a 4 ft section in and the frame for my swing gate.

highly impressed and a question

That is looking great man!!!!

Question though, how do you deal with the sag? do the piano hinges take care of it, or are you going to add a locking mechanism when you do the section over the workbench?

Progress

Had the day off today. Picked up all the wood I need to finis the benchwork.

i should be able to get the plywood and foam board on tomorrow .

For dealing with potential sag, there will be a shelf that the gate rests on when in position. Also on the non hinge side there is block that supports the gate when in position.

Once those are installed I will photo graph them.
