Just curious if anyone has actually built a PC/CR RS3m loco?

CMR Products makes a shell, wanted to see if anyone has one that they finished and if so any tips or hints that may be helpful in building one.

CMR Products

Hi there Scott,

Yep I believe I remember that article, was very well done. Not crazy about sawing up shells, haven't quite reached that comfort level yet...

What I was interested in was if anyone had used the CMR Products shell and how it came out.

RS3M

I did one about 9 months ago.  I didn't find it a tough effort.  The hardest part was drilling the holes for the railings.   I think it came out fine.IMG_0367.JPG

Uh...

CMR is a sketchy company. They have hosted shells from a known thief known as Big Dawg Originals. He has since changed his company's name, but I still see his stuff hosted on there. He has stolen things from Rapido trains as well as some historical societies and countless other companies. It's hard to tell where the legit items end (if any) and the thievery begins. So buyer beware and know who you are supporting by buying these products.
