I've completed most of the main scenery forms on my science fiction layout "The Mines of Xenon." The mountains, slime pit, bridges, and most ballast is in place.

Check out my blog for details

And yes, there be dinosaurs and robots in thar (no pirates, yet, though )

I enjoy the smell of melting plastic in the morning.  The Fake Model Railroader, subpar at best.

Just a suggestion

look on ebay for "plastic cactus" or "artificial succulents" - some look most "other-world-ly" and a quick airbrush over in different colours would enhance your layout. Just a couple of examples - can't you see that second one in shades of blue or red?

Sci-fi Trains and Pinball

The Bally 'Xenon' table is one of my favorites. I'm pretty good at it. Back to trains. Are you going to have an intermodal facility? Might need a 'Firefly' class freighter or two. Curious if you saw the most recent 'Star Wars', which prominently features a train.

FANTASTIC!

I am all about Sci-Fi and fantasy...

And love the Super Turbo Train... I have one I want to rework so it can run on non-steel track.
