Has anyone found a good acrylic color match for CP caboose yellow?  I believe Polly Scale had a paint named CP caboose yellow.  Also there appears to have been a slight change in the color CP used or it was due to fading since the wide vision cabooses appear to by a browner yellow when compared to photos of other cabooses.  I am building a plywood sided cupola caboose.  Testors Model Master has a lot of different yellow colors!

CP Action Yellow

Rapido Trains has a line of paints mostly for Canadian roads. CP "Action Yellow" is the colour used on cabooses and insulated boxcars in the CP Rail era.

My 2¢ on CP yellow

Using paint charts on my computer.  I compared those to the chart on the Rapido page.  They have a US$ price but I do not know who carries it in the US.  They also say they are an official licensee of Amtrak.

I DO NOT know if these are good,  They are just a guess using my computer screen.

Badger Air Opaque 7-20 Warm Yellow.

Vallejo Model Color 70-953 Flat Yellow.  It is also noted as RLM04, which makes it a 'standard' color.

If'n ya will accept for solvent paint...

Tru-Color has TCP-112   CP RAIL ACTION YELLOW

Scalecoat is getting many more Canadian colors but not yet this one.
