Hi! I was playing around with  kit of figures from Noch and ended up with a nice action kayaking scene. Guess what? I made a video tutorial showing how the scene was set up. Enjoy!

Great modelling, Martin, but

Great modelling, Martin, but as a former white-water kayaker and instructor, I'd say your question about surviving is right on: the chances of this guy's survival are slim.  A drop that far is likely to kill the paddler, especially with the other boat about to drop right on to of him.  To give him half a chance, add spotters (folks on the shore below with ropes and life saving rings) to respond if he's in trouble.

The problem of going over big falls like this for a paddler is the water tends to keep you cycling back into the falls and pushing you down - you never get to the surface to breathe.

Hi Geof, Wow! Really?

Hi Geof,

Wow! Really? White-water kayaker? Cool! I would never dare to do something like that. I´m not the action-type-guy for sure, but in my miniature world everything is possible. The idea with the spotters is for sure a good one. I´ll add them. I found this photo on Google search, which inspired med to make this scene..
