Berg Service Center recently received an updated turntable. 

Original configuration:
 

A Fleishmann turntable replaced the Atlas one, a new larger engine house, as well as, a water tower and fuel tank:
 

Wiggins Building Supply

Work began this weekend on Wiggins Building Supply, using Wathers Water Street Terminal kits.  The various sections are taped together to get some of the fitting done for the end walls.

A large number of freight doors run between the track and backdrop:
 

The office portion follows the curvature of the track and fills this deadish space between the yard and Ristuccia Provisions.  The non-gray wall section still needs bent.

Hey Nick,

  That's one large building you have going.  A flatcar with steel beams to hold up the roof are in transit.

Any thoughts of what will be up on the roof? Flat roof with smoke stacks or possibly some more structure?

Wiggins Supply Part II

The main walls for Wiggins Supply Company are painted and the windows and doors installed:
 

I did the brick using artist's acrylics and a make up sponge.  I still need to cut the end walls to fit, and alter the roof.  The warehouse portion will get a singled roof, and the office/showroom, a flat one.

Wiggins Supply Part III

Progress on Wiggins Building Supply continues at a glacial pace, with a loading dock and end walls.
 

Brodar Millwork I

On the same track as Wiggins Supply, will be Brodar Millwork, beginning with a Walthers Heritage Furniture background kit.  I plan on extending it will at least one more kit.

Cross Yard Bridge

Like the previous layout, I added a bridge to soften the area where the yard dead ended into the wall:

Cross Yard Bridge Progress

I painted the backdrop behind the cross yard bridge.  I went with black under the bridge for now.  I may replace it with a mirror later.
