Even though the ATSF Paradigm Division is still in the plywood prairie style of scenery, it is now,  with the completion of the Union Station Engine Facility, 100% functionally complete and operational in DCC.  The first video is done in a slide format and shows the general step-by-step construction & completion of the engine facility in three phases over a two month time period (June thru August 2016).  Areas of emphasis have been annotated on the individual slides and/or have additional information provided before each section of the video.

The second video (once again done with my Polaroid Cube+) shows the route that a steam engine would take getting to and from the coaling tower, roundhouse, and/or just to be reversed on the turntable.  The camera is mounted on a depressed center flatcar and is being pushed by an ATSF H16-44 (motor decoder only).  The camera ride view begins on track #14 in Union Station (run-around/through track), goes through the coaling tower track and arrives onto the N-Scale Walther's 130' turntable.  The turntable is then reversed (using the turntable control box (not shown). The camera view train then exits back onto the same entry track and then travels back to Union Station Yard (track # 14) and ends near the icing facility.

Now that the layout is fully functional, I plan on starting to work on scenery in the Paradigm area plus doing some more DCC installs to include getting back onto the 4-8-4 project (I actually did a couple of IMRC F3A drop-ins, with a tad of soldering of the headlight leads, just before making the second video).
