In Atlas GP40-2. Seems as though this is reasonably straight forward. Never tried this before. Should I give the job to a decoder installer [they are many miles from me] Thoughts? Thanks. Tom
Plug'n Play sound ?
Have one SDN144AO implanted into a C420, straight forward except for power pickup.
Needed to fill up the contact pads with solder to have them sitting correct in the frame notches.
For better "sound experience" on bad track I replaced the factory cap with a custom cap.
Don't forget to isolate the frame against the decoder
But I currently swap over to SDN136PS. Seems Series 6 performs better than Series 4.
