Photos?

Can you provide photos?  I did a low-nose RS36 a few months ago ( https://forum.mrhmag.com/post/iaiss-west-end-upgrading-the-atlas-trainman-rs32rs36-12200722 ), and there might be some common ground between the two.

Should be an easy nose chop on an RS-11 High Hood.

Just discovered that this engine should be dead.

Here it is in D & H paint.

Chop nose RS-11

Atlas makes a good model of an Alco RS-11.   Replace the cab with an Atlas cab from the RS-32/36, then cut down the nose to fit the new cab.  In theory it sounds like a fairly simple undertaking (and we all know those famous words), paint and letter the mess and you should be laughing.  Check the parts availability with Atlas Model Railroad Co. for the RS-11 shell and RS-32/36 cab to get started.  Hint, get the low nose version of the replacement cab so the headlights and number boards are all part of the molding!  An Alco purist will probably find some errors in this advice, but for a starter project this should be just about right.  Have fun!
