I can no longer click on ads in the magazine without getting a popup blocked. I have never had this problem before, and turning off popup blocker is not very easy on my system and certainly not convenient just for this web site. Does anyone know what has happened?

When you click on the ad, a box should appear along the bottom of the screen  that asks whether to allow pop ups. If you hit the "allow for this site only" button, pop ups will be allowed only for MRH.

Give up on IE

Switch over to Firefox or Google Chrome browser.  IE is way to problematic in my opinion.  Never have any trouble with Firefox or Chrome.

Firefox or Chrome...

I went the other way, from Firefox to Chrome. No big reason, just liked where Chrome was going over Firefox, particularly if you have a Google account and multiple devices (desktop, laptop, tablet). Does a great job of keeping everything (including extensions) synced between the devices. And if you have to re-install Chrome, all your extensions, settings and preferences are automatically installed and enabled as soon as you sign in again.

The three extensions I highly recommend for either Firefox or Chrome are Lastpass, AdBlock and Ghostery.

Lastpass is a password vault allowing you to use a random password that is different on each site you visit. You only need to remember one highly secure password.

AdBlock and Ghostery work together to block ad tracking and other user tracking systems. However, for sites such as MRH, I use their white listing capabilities, as I want to see the ads here on MRH and I want MRH to track my visits so that I'm counted in their stats (such as circulation.)

My two cents...
