The support structure for the main level has been completed. The full scale drawings (discussed in my August 2014 blog) of the layout were taped together and laid out on the supports with the help of poster board.  This gave me a good idea if the tracks were where I wanted them.

As a result of looking at the design in full scale, I made a couple of changes to the track alignment. One change was to the curve on the single track that goes from Paradigm to San Angela and the other was on the single track that goes from Michaelson Jct. to the third level so that it was a little broader curve as it interfaced to the spline roadbed.

The annotated slideshow video below shows the progress (albeit slow) that has been made.

Once this phase is completed, as I am currently working on the third level, I plan to annotate the full scale drawings glued to the plywood with the planned locations of track feeders and anything else that needs to be drilled.  Once marked, each section will be removed and taken outside (weather permitting) to be drilled and then returned to its location on the support structure.
