Art,

I have found that by assembling the building first allows the painting to be more uniform and also allows for correcting any little glue squeeze outs. But that is just me and I don't think that my way is the only way. As they say there is more then one way to skin a cat. I also pre-paint all the windows & doors before assembly into the building. I will admit that I do a lot of taping especially if I have multiple colors, but I don't mind as I get real fine results. I do hand paint most of the details, such as window sills & detail brick work etc. I will be posting more pictures on my blog after the building is completed. Stay tuned.

How about posting a picture of the building you have that looks like this one? I would be interested in seeing it.
