Haven't posted for a while........

Just too  busy "Working on the Railroad" so cyber time has been relegated.

Anyway, for those of you who remember I am following 'top down' building principles for a small double deck layout.The top deck track work is almost 100% complete and I just needed to build a turntable for Atherton engine terminal.

Here it is........close to completion:

This is a removable module that I can build on at the workbench in comfort, then just bolt on and link up the trackwork. The Deck is an eBay Cliff Line 'A' frame bargain (Kit circa 1963 I think!).

The track stubs are temporary and just for the purpose of leveling checks.

This is the first Turntable I have ever built and its been great fun so far. Even using a router to make the pit was a blast 

I'll post a completed picture soon along with an inaugural top deck train run video, IF I can master some simple video editing.

Can anybody recommend something idiot proof so that I can edit videos and add some titles using my Panasonic Lumix camera?
