Hi everyone! Its been a while. My wife and I just welcomed a new baby girl into this world on feb 26th and we have been busy getting ready for her arrival. Needless to say, not much time for trains LOL. Well, now that she's home from the newborn intensive care unit... I can start getting back into the basement and the TRAINS! Ok. I came across this really nice ho scale Lionel UP gas turbine that is DC and has sound but is not DCC ready. Has anyone installed DCC in one of these models? I haven't been able to find out much about it but from what Iv'e gatherd, it's pretty old. Any thoughts? Thanks, Cliff ...UP MAN

Cliff, I suspect this is your first born

Based on my experience with four new borns, you have quite a while and many sleepless nights and diapers before you really get back to the trains.  In the mean time get as much sleep as you can, you'll miss sleep for the next few months.

Hope your bride and daughter both recover their health quickly.

This is our second baby. Our first, my son, is 16 months old so i know my work is cut out for me lol.
