I thought I would share my experience with the soldering iron purchased from Amazon. Two years ago I fount this and ordered it:
https://amazon.com/gp/product/B083LX2HMJ/ref=ppx_od_dt_b_asin_title_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
This item is currently unavailable, but is quite similar to the one Joe writes about. This package comes with a large quantity of heat shrink tubing, two pairs of tweezers, and other goodies. It has the power switch in the handle like the feature Joe mentioned. When I purchased mine it was only $14.00 so I bought it as a gamble, but was quite surprised to find it was a real winner. It is now listed at $21.00, but is a bargain even at that price.
