That's really outstanding, the scenery, the backdrop, the weathering, ...

Hey, I took a break

Hey, I took a break ... been working like a crazy man for the last couple days to get the magazines out and the front page only needs updated before the email blast goes out, which is tomorrow.

So ... I do need to take a breather once in a while!

Just so you know, I prefer MRH to bake in for a day or so before I update the front page. I'm never in a big hurry to update the front page to the current issue for that reason. Once I'm good and ready, I will update it!

Give me a break

Scripturally speaking:

"... finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work ..."

And tomorrow is Saturday, the seventh day.

It Wasn't Meant to be a Slam

Just a reminder. Usually when the RE version comes out, the free version goes on the home screen. Sorry if it seemed demanding.

I was amused

Don’t worry Bud, I was kind of amused, frankly. I knew full well I had not updated the home page yet and I had a good reason. Appreciate you trying to be helpful, but I was taking a break and planning to update the home page later that evening, and then build the email blast for Friday morning. It’s all good!

Good example

That’s why we should be careful with emails and texts. Proof read before sending so you don’t send more than you intend. Intentions and humor don’t come across a straight text message. I often wonder if the big blowouts and flame fests aren’t sometimes started by accident, by what someone read into a message that the user didn’t intend.  Bud was short and sweet, but that could have been misinterpreted by Joe, especially if he had been in the wrong frame of mind because he was tired or had just had a bad experience that day before he read the message. Instead he took it in the spirit it was intended and even made a joke.
I’m not trying to be better than others, I have had my share of conflict from misreading what a text intended. I was just taking an opportunity, you might say. Joe, thank you for your hard work putting this magazine together. To everyone else, thank you for supporting this magazine so it is there for me to read.
