Online read links not working..

Tried a couple of the "read now" links, they don't work either!

Have to Create a Google Account to View videos WHY?

I'v always been able to view embedded videos simply and quickly.  Today, U tube requires me to create a Google account to view Ken Patterson's video.

Why?

By the way, I haven't created that account yet.  It asks me for my birthdate, which is none of their business.

Age restriction browser setting?

Our videos are public, and that video has had almost 3000 views already and you’re the first to report this requirement.

Conclusion: Sounds like you’ve somehow managed to get age restriction filtering turned on on your machine. If you can find that setting and turn it off, you will be back to normal. With age restrictions turned on on your computer, YouTube will require you to tell them your age (aka, give them your birthdate) so they can make sure you’re an adult.

YouTube has never required a login to view videos in general and if they changed that policy, the entire internet would be up in arms. Fix your local machine age restriction, which has gotten turned on somehow.

The ads still aren't working for me. (though I had no issues with "What's Neat")

Popup blocker

It's almost certainly a popup blocker / ad blocker. When you're in the online magazine, tell your ad blocker / popup blocker to ignore this site.

I had the same problem and telling the ad blocker to "ignore this site" fixed it right up.

That's what I thought...

But my pop-up blocker has MRH exempted... so I turned it off altogether, and it still won't let me click on the ads. "What's Neat" works, but anything ad like just isn't... I'll tinker around on my end some more... maybe I'm missing something...

Okay, it's all working in Edge... so it's a Firefox problem.
