benchwork questions for Nick Muff

For Nick Muff -- benchwork questions ... Nick, page 28, you write:

"So I chose to create the top of the benchwork from three-quarterinch
plywood. I added four-inch strips of three-quarter-inch
plywood along all of the edges and across the middle to strengthen
each section eight-foot-long section."

Do you have pix to share?

page 30, you write:

"The new benchwork was a little more challenging. It is built on
two levels, and includes changes in grade and elevation as well
as two major depressed areas for the Spavinaw River and Bald
Cypress Swamp.
I’m very pleased with the result. The completed pieces went together
easily in the basement. That whole area is now covered with landforms
and rock castings. This also explains why I chose foam rock
castings and geodesic foam scenery sheets for this area. I did not
need sawdust in the basement or dripping plaster and water!"

Got pix to share? Especially the two-level approach?

Two Level Plywood Bench Work

Sorry but I am social media challenged! I do have photos but can't seem to find a way to attach them or post them in this response form? There are pictures of the bench work in my article.  Nick

Nick,

Check out the instructions for posting a photo - you won't want to do it from your phone, though: http://model-railroad-hobbyist.com/help/how-to-post-an-image
