CL30

Guys,

Our two drives are ready for programming and layout testing to get out the final bugs and prepare for production.

Here is the Blomberg based drive:

Here is the latest test shot of the trucks, ready for mould clean up and polishing.  There will be multi-layer photo-etch to do the journal liners and plastic for additional details.  We're going to drill out the cuts at the top of the fork opening as well.

Here is the HTC based drive.  Shown are some test samples of the hoods, the Li-PO battery for Wireless/Battery operation, and the Non-Sound MCU electronics.  The Sound version is made by changing out the MCU PCB with the new card.  Test samples are due to arrive after June 28th for this version.

Here are the latest mods to the HTC.  Basically the springs will be hidden and the plastic has been modified to accept scale spring detail on the journals.  All of the details for the trucks are being retooled with our on-site micron tooling center.  There are going to be some holes drilled at the rear of the HTC and the openings made at the top of the forks with our Daytron.

This drive will work with existing DCC products.  We include the option to use Li-PO batteries and the ZigBee transceiver for Wireless operation which gives you the flexibility of no track based DCC signals and the associated head aches to maintain correct operation.

Now that the R&D is basically done, everything is just being prepped for production.

We'll be able to start releasing EMD/GMDD GP38-2's, GP39-2's, GP40-2's, SD38-2's, and SD40-2's this fall.

All the best,

Christopher Howard
