Great work!!!

I'm the guy on the end of the video and I know the trouble Miles and Fran went to shoot the video.

Initially I was interviewed on the Sunday prior to Miles, Fran  and 50 others, including myself going to Joadja on the Easter Monday.

Miles and Fran did 5 takes on the Sunday but the sound failed.

At Joadja on the Monday, standing in front of the incline photo more takes were made but again the sound played up and Miles and Fran were reduced to recording the audio on an Iphone.

Miles and Fran deserve multiple kudos for sheer persistance for overcoming the gremlins!!! 

Work on the 2017 NG Convention in Geelong in already being undertaken by the guys in Victoria.

Geelong, which a population of approximately 230,000 is only a bit over 40 miles (74km by rail),  from Melbourne CBD. and it, and the 2017 Convention, is actually easier to get to than was the Convention Miles just reported on.

As an aside Melbourne, has a population of 4,000,000 people and with 250 km (150 miles) of double track has the largest tram, (light rail), network in the world. 

Why not plan to come and visit?  i am sure the Aussie dollar will be worth less than $US and cheaper than the Euro etc.

Hello Miles and Fran,

I hope you enjoyed your stay in Australia. It was great to meet you both at the Bowral Narrow Gauge Convention. I received a razz from my daughter Megan for neglecting to mention that she helped me paint figures and chose signs and colours to use on Hoyt Clagwell. Thank you Megan!

Hope to see you at the next Australian Narrow Gauge Convention at Geelong in 2017. I might have some new microlayouts by then,
