Big Raps for one of your Advertisers

I recently saw a post in these forums praising a couple of your advertisers. Needing some stuff that isn't available here in New Zealand and based on the recommendation in that post I contacted Craig Cooper at Dallas Model Works and placed an order last Monday. A large box arrived here today (that is quick shipping from the US) with everything I ordered and in great shape.

Speaking of Sponsors

While we are on the topic of advertisers, I figure I should generically offer some advice to MRH advertisers. This week I was looking for a particular product that I had a short time line on getting some information on. I sent an email to four advertisers with my inquiry, two I had used before and two I hadn't. I wanted to expand to a couple more sponsors and thank them for sponsoring MRH. That's when it went wrong for them.

Iwata Medea top notch

This is a report on my experience with one of MRH's advertisers Iwata Medea. 1st based on their ads and MRH articles I bought 4 Iwata airbrushes...life is good ...best airbrushes on the planet.

Meanwhile...back at the ranch my compressor stop restarting under load . It's a Whisperjet plus I bought in 1993.

I still had the paperwork so I called ...turns out Iwata Medea is the old Medea...even at the same address & telephone. Kirk Leikendahl helped me out...1 week later my whisperjet was back in business.

On3 Waynesburg and Washington Passenger Cars

CROSSROADS MODELS has released it's newest On3/On30 kit, the Waynesburg and Washington baggage car #4, originally built by Billmeyer and Small and delivered in January 1887 as a coach/baggage car. It was converted to a full baggage car in 1893 and retired from service in1929. CROSSROADS MODELS has also re-released it's W&W coach #5 or #6 and RPO #2 or #3. These are precision laser cut wood craftsman style kits that now feature a pre-sanded and shaped roof. They are available from Knucklepin Industries.
