A sad day

I am glad I had the opportunity to talk to Lew.  He was incredibly friendly, helpful, and intelligent, and I could not have manages as well without his help.  He will be sorely missed.

Rest in peace, Lew.

What a shock!

So sorry to hear this news so soon after Lew stepped down.

Our collective thoughts and prayers are with his family, friends and those who knew him well.

Modelers worldwide should be flying flags at half mast today.

My condolences also to the folks from Lew's MRH family.

Yes, Lew was an ardent supporter of the MRH vision and always full of great ideas at staff meetings.

I had the pleasure of meeting

I had the pleasure of meeting Lew at the first RPM meet I attended - the first show in Marion, Ohio two years ago.  A singularly interesting guy who can make great lunch conversation on a wiiiiiide range of topics.

I didn't know him well, but I will miss him nonetheless.

Thank you Lew

We first met Lew just a few short months ago at the Timonium show in October.  His enthusiasm was contagious and that  was the reason we became an advertiser with the magazine. He gave us some good ideas and was a delight to talk with. We were looking forward to working with him in the future, although he said in correspondence he would not be at the Feb. show.

Our condolences to his family and friends.

Death is not a wall, but a veil. We may not be easily able to see and touch our beloved dead, but they are not entirely gone.

We may grieve the distance between us, but we still perceive an enduring connection with our beloved dead.
