Help spread the word about Model Railroad Hobbyist magazine through your local hobby shop (LHS) ...

Just download this flyer, print it out, and take it to your LHS! Tell the owner that if they'd like their shop listed in our new "MRH Sponsoring Hobby Shops" listing, then all they need to do is ask us to mail them some of our free flyers and we'll gladly add them to our Sponsoring Hobby Shops listing web page!

The listing includes:

  • Shop name
  • Shop description (200 chars)
  • Shop phone number
  • Shop address (linked to Google maps for driving directions)

All free, just for letting us send them some free flyers for their shop counter. We get over 15,000 unique visitors to this web site every month, so having their hobby shop listed on our site for free can't hurt. And telling modelers everywhere that their shop supports the forever free MRH magazine shows their good will toward the hobby!

So download the flyer below, print it out, and take it to your local hobby shop!

Awesome, I was just planning to head down to the LHS too...

I Printed out 18 color copies and took them to 7 Hobby shops so far and they let me post them in their magazine section and and 5 had me put them in the front door too. As you come into the store you can see the flier and then once inside you'll find another by the magazine rack

I'm going to print up 20 more and head up to Gettysburg P.A. this next week end. I should hit 6 hobby shops from West Virginia north to Gettysburg that is if I don't have to work Saturday. I need some supplies so it Gives me a reason to go on a road trip & spend some money on my Railroad.

P.S. no compensation required just helping pay my dues so to speak

Just bringing this back to the top.

The lead post on this thread has a link to a PDF of some flyers you can print out and take to your local hobby shop. If you're really ambitous, you can take them a few CDs as well of some recent MRH issues.

Joe , fellows.

We are like Joe's own mafia. There is no replacement for enthusiastic people. I do not have a printer but I have told alot of people about this. All of the fellows I was sending fotos of layout progress to have been told I switched over to a blog on this page.

Charley

I knew Ihad seen something on here, but when you posted about the vendor of the month, I thought of my local hobby shop and couldn't find this blog on the site because I was looking on the "advertise with us" page of the site.  It might be worthwhile to put a link at the top of the page with the other links "Tell you local hobby shop about us" or some such title.  When a person clicked on it they would be directed to the pdf.
