How did you do

the dead branches?  They look pretty darn good in the last two photos.

Very nice work!

I like what you have done.  Any chance you can take them into natural light for a picture or two, it would really show off your work

Great looking trees!

Your trees look great.
I'm curious how you made the bark.

I Like 'em

Those look quite nice even by themselves, and should be great on the layout.

first step

the first step ,

you need a good knife! You begin on top and slowly going down .

the second step!

you put the piece on it , you need a make little pressure on it up and down,

to do it this plate , you just need a piece of 3/8 thick of plywood and just put a little nail 3/4 longs !

i wish you understand ,because my girlfriend she not here ,,,lol  for the traduction ,she a english girl

and im french guy ,,,,nobody  is perfect.........lol

another picture

another picture to explain how!the picture is not perfect , but you can see the detail

,you need to finish very deeply ,same on the picture . its very easily ,you just need to take a little time

its very important for the other step with the black paint!

4th step

you need to drill a little hole for the spike! before you begin the dead branch .

Pascal

5th step

you to put with your hammer the spike with a white glue , and you cut it with a cutter .

Pascal

6th step

At this point , you need a lots of time to complete this step ,,,``patience``for a good result ...llollllllllll

you need to drill very much hole not to much deep , just enough .

7th step

with a white glue, you soak it and put on the bark. You can find the branch on the nature! or you can take

a yellow straw broom.
