Wow! A lot in a small space!

Even for N scale, this is a busy place - you certainly fit a lot of features in a small area, and the detail is very nice (like the stone piers on the bridge)!

Now, of course, I'm wondering how it would look in American railroading and HO scale, filling only 63 x 32 inches . . .!  Even with very little space, I may be able to build this one . . .

The Boat

What a great idea to use the foam as a form for the boat. As for the layout, it looks like it provides a lot of switching activity in a compact space.

Great modeling

Impressive modeling! And I agree, a lot in a little space. You don't need a basement to have a decent layout! I'm wondering, what product did you use to make the water? And what method did you use to get the water's surface like that?

very nice

and a great demonstration of the potential of n scale.  - detail, scenery, and operation.  Thanks for the pictures. I didn't know that n scale had a double slip - and it looks quite serviceable - another key to compact design..

Art

edit:  On second inspection it does not look like a true double-slip - but why the curved rails on the outside?  Perhaps the center section flip-flops to match the curves?

More info please.
