Trackage 2 Gravel Pit - (Ballast?)

Hi, There RR's.

Can anybody give me some insite as 2 the trackage, & were it diverged, to a gravel pit (Ballast Pit?) Approx. 2 miles NW of the town of Ester, on the CPR line from Laverna 2 Hemaruka in East Central Alberta, Canada.

I have been told (by local old timers) that this gravel pit was used during the building of the CPR line between Laverna & Hemaruka around circa l920.  I have surched local town history books around the region in East Central Alberta, Canada, but can't find any notation about its use.  Thanx in Advance 4 all UR Help.   Boxcar Willy.

Try an employee timetable

See if you can locate an employee timetable from that region and date. That may give you some insight. I'll ask some timetable collector friends of mine to see if they can help answer the question. I'll let you know either way what I find out.

Stogie and

Stogie and ..."Boxcar",

Unfortunately Sarbon maps access have been reserved to US citizen that have a local Library card.

Ask to your town library if he have access to sarbon and use your codes on the library card.

Any other "public" username and password are not more working.

Anyway, take a Google search for Sarbon maps as there are several University or Town Libraries sites sharing some locations or towns.

Cheers
