Status Report

Benchwork: 95% complete

Tracklaying: 30% complete

Wiring: 10% complete

Scenery: 5% complete

I've done a bit more work on the layout - here are a couple of pictures:

also I ended up tweaking the trackwork slightly to remove an unnecessary crossover and re-jig the angles a bit. Once my 20 degree crossing arives I'll be able to finish the trackwork.

Very nice start

I am also building a switching layout, pretty much the same dimension as yours (12' x 7' x 6' "J" shaped) but I have less turnouts then you do, simply because I built them from Proto87 kits and I don't want to spend a lifetime on that.

I will follow this blog.
