Hello

I am planning for a new HO railroad, and have started a blog at http://gomrr.blogspot.com/

Please take a look at my first attempts of presenting a plan, and give some feedback and ideas for improvement!

My  MRR should be freelanced, but based on Eastern U.S: area in the mid-fifties. I plan for running with 2-5 operators, but the layout should also be possible to run alone. For train lenght I plan for a maximum of 20 cars. The grades are planned to be a max. 2.3%, with a minimum radius of 48".

Best regards,

Good start...

Using 3rd Plan-it or XtrakCAD to "mock up" the railroad is definitely a great idea - electrons are reusable. Lumber and flextrack less so.
