Greetings fellow N Scalers, have any of you used cork bark for modeling rock faces?  I have a huge sheet of it and I'm not certain if I should add a light coat of plaster over it in regards to painting to achieve the desired look I need.  The cork bark looks great, I just don't know how to model it, any suggestions would be great.

Might try priming it white

I was going to use regular cork sheeting for sedimentary rock:

Found the best way to color material is stain it with Kilz2 acrylic primer and stain the primer. It gives a "blank canvas" to color.
