Looking for discontinued Scalecoat I & II Paint colors to repaint Loco's OR find alternative!!

I'm looking for Scalecoat paint in NYC Pacemaker Red and Trailer Train Yellow and it appears neither color is made my them anymore.  I've searched online with no luck, but I was hoping perhaps there is a local hobby shop somewhere that still has a jar or two.  If there is, can you please PM me their contact information (email/phone number) so I might be able to purchase it from them.  I need those two colors to repaint the SD40-2 units I'm acquiring.

If that is not possible, I have noticed that Badger makes Trailer Train Yellow, and I believe it's Floquil Poly S, that has NYC Pacemaker Red.  Does anyone know if these paints are the same color?  Just because they are labeled that, doesn't mean they will be the exact same color.  It's essential that I have the exact same color as the Scalecoat paints were.

Thanks!

Paint cross reference

Ken

I came across this website a while back.  It has tons of modeling info and one of the pages is a paint cross reference.

http://www.hosam.com/

Once on the website, look on the left side and click on the 3rd item from the bottom "Paints/Fillers",  then click on the the 5th item - "Paint colors cross referenced".  Unfortunately the author does say that there is a cross reference for Pacemaker Red, but does show a Floquil cross for TTX Yellow.  I have not tried to test any of these so can't vouch for any of the info - it is just something I came across in my research.  Also I know this doesn't answer you real question about absolute color matching - so this is just something I hope might help.

You may also want to read the final section labeled "Paint Discussion"  there is a number of references to Scalecoat paints which may help.

The website has a ton of info and advice on modeling and painting in general, so even if it doesn't help with your specific question, I bet you will find something of interest.  Sorry, but this is the only help I can be.

Good hunting

NYC Pacemacker Red

If I remember right Pacemaker read was also called Vermillion red or Chinese red. Scalecoat sells a CB&Q (Chinese) Red that maybe used. You can always mix your own if you have a paint sample to match. Does it need to be that exact?
