Some years ago I crossed paths with an article on how to model southern california cliffs next to the ocean.  I can't find it now.     Specifically, where SP runs along the coast in Ventura and Santa Barbara Counties, the line is on top of or at the bottom of shaley clay cliffs that are heavily eroded.  The article (as I remember) described a modeler's wonderful rendition of these.  Any one know where the article was, or have ideas about techniques.

And, yes, La Conchita--in the news in 1995 and 2005 because of the major landslides-- is part of that area.  SP's place name is "Punta".

Thanks for the help.
