Guys, Our new Zigbee tablets are shipping next week. The tablet has Android 4.0.3, 2GB DDR3, 32GB or 64GB HDD, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth, and Zigbee 2.4 GHz integrated. The tablet can be used as a cell phone, home, commercial, industrial, or medical interfaces through Android based applications. We have several motor control modules in production that integrate a Zigbee antenna. Through the tablet you can control these devices embedded in your locomotives or layout. Add our new Li-PO batteries and you have a control system that does not require track power except for recharge tracks. With our new Blomberg and HTC trucks, the components will all fit within the hood. You can have booth sound and battery models in our units due to the integration of our traction motor based drive and motor control. Both the tablet and batteries are available now. two steps back, one forward

Guys,

The three suppliers we chose for the tablets back in February all screwed us, however a change in tactics two weeks ago resulted in a big find.

We just got our engineering sample in hand yesterday and the 3G, WiFi, Zigbee, Z-Wave, and GPS all check out OK.  The sample does not have Bluetooth yet.

I'll be posting some video later. 

The casing, screen, DDR/HDD, and O/S will all be upgraded with a lead time of 30 - 45 days.  

The main thing is that this works!
