Rio Grande Dan

Hay Guys I have been out of the states for the past 6 weeks. Now that I'm back I did a system reload of my computers and reloaded everything including the Firefox Browser, when I try to post while using Firefox and I press the reply to post I get the subject line and just below it says comments but no comment box loads.????

Any body have a suggestion ???

When I switch to IE and press the reply I have no problem. In fact I had to use IE to post this "Make a web post" because while using Firefox under the word Body the Show Summary in full view and the little check box wasn't there in Firefox and the main comment box just below the word Body was absent.

Thanks if anybody can tell me what I did wrong.

You're using Firefox 10

You're using FireFox 10, that's your problem. It's the most buggy release Mozilla has ever done. Doesn't work with Gmail worth a darn either.

Workaround might solve it

In another post earlier this month DKRickman had a problem displaying the sponsor list. JC Shall had that problem with FireFox 10 and solved it by adjusting his AdBlocker setup. See:

(If the link does not take you to JC Shall's comment, look at the last comment - time-stamped 2-13 14:49 PST)

I sent an E-Mail to Mozilla

I was looking for a newer up-grade to Firefox and figured I'd send them a note. After ward I came here to post using IE and started reading a post Jason had about his Fire House build.

As I scrolled down I was only able to get to the 3rd post where the post was cut off half way through where the bottom of the page showed in the middle of the 3rd post cutting all other posts off and the word TOP showed like you see after paging down normally to the bottom of every page.

So I have to read the web site in Firefox and switch over and Post in IE. I think my computers are mad at me for being out of town for a month and a half and then re-installing everything new when I returned Monday.

Running just spiffy. So was 10.0.1 (it just upgraded to 10.0.2 a few minutes ago.)

Linux and Chromium.....

........ (Chromium is the original version of Chrome for Linux). Everything works. Blue Screen of Death just a distant nightmare. Had a few issues using Linux and Firefox, nothing tragic. Not going back to Micro$oft, not even at gunpoint.

Is there a way to know when Firefox is fixed?

I use Firefox.  I also have I.E. on my computer because my wife's work does not allow anything but I.E. to log onto the employees' info on the web page.  Every time I open Firefox I get a pop up asking permission to upgrade, and since I've heard of the problems, I "just say no."

No problems here with Firefox

I hadn't heard of any issues with Firefox until this thread.

I have been using 'Firefox 10' on both Windows 7 and Ubuntu with no issues. The Ubuntu one upgraded from 10.0.1 to 10.0.2 yesterday and still no issues.

Thanks Everybody Fixed Now

Today I went out and bought a new Computer Core i7 with Windows 7 with all the bells and whistles. When I installed Firefox it said "We fixed the bugs we had in 10.0.1 with 10.0.2" install now".

I have 7 other computers all with XP Pro and this is the first I have kept Windows 7 Premium. So far so good and with 10.0.2 Firefox everything is great and again Thanks everybody for all your Input.

Never do a dot oh release

I'm on 10.0.2 FF right now as I'm posting this and it works much better. I'd say you're generally safe to upgrade now.

I avoid x.0 (dot oh) releases because they tend to be the most buggy.
