I started my layout about a year ago, and it has now reached the stage where I feel I can start sharing a little

And just now decided that I'll do a bit of blogging as I go. Projects underway at the moment:

- custom paintjobs, decals and weathering for a few locos

- experimenting a bit on some boxcars to decide which technique I want to use on my locos for a decent fade-wash. I think I will try an alcohol based wash with a cream colored acrylic paint. (any feedback on this would be appreciated)

- need to weather and assemble some structures

- keep working slowly on scenery and try making some trees from scratch (especially those ones where you use wire in a drill)
