It starts with an evening at Doug Mathison's garden railroad and a BBQ meet and greet, followed by two full days of standard and narrow guage operations using computer based train orders radio dispatching and two person train crews (engineer and conductor) You see the latest and greatest in battery operated radio control and live steam. Hi Rick.  We did indeed have a great weekend.  It is not often you find an outdoor railroad that accommodates so many trains and has a super operations schedule.  The social aspect is super with the food drink and recounting with friends the rail adventures of the past year.  Here is the web page so you can see our past activities and future events.  http://ovgrs.editme.com/

First Timer

I was there for the first two days, it was my first encounter with Garden Rails and I thought it was OUTSTANDING!!

I'm an HO guy @ heart and thought it was a total blast. It may have even convinced my wife into letting me build in the garden, I think!

Chris thanks for inviting us.
