Annually the Ottawa Valley Garden Railway Society (OVGRS) opens it's doors to large scale modelers to come and run this point to point operating large scale railroad for three days. It starts with an evening at Doug Mathison's garden railroad and a BBQ meet and greet, followed by two full days of standard and narrow guage operations using computer based train orders radio dispatching and two person train crews (engineer and conductor) You see the latest and greatest in battery operated radio control and live steam.
