MRRSparky

I have the last six issues on this computer (a laptop) waiting to be read.  However, I do all my reading laying in bed at night.  The idea of taking this laptop to bed and trying to read the issues does not sound appealing or particularly comfortable.

Can these issues be read on a Kindle-type device?  I don't own anything of that type but I DO have a netbook and I find reading the issues on this small a screen to be difficult.  I constantly have to scroll across the screen on each line.  So I need a recommendation about what to get that would be convenient.

No to anything as small as a Kindle or Nook

As much as I love my Kindle, when I have tried to find someway to read MRR on my Kindle, it has not been very satisfactory.

You might have better luck with an iPad.  I know it has been mentioned before.

What model of Kindle?

Bill:

What model of Kindle? Have you tried the printer-friendly edition? We've gotten favorable reports from people with Kindles and Nooks who read the printer-friendly edition.

I've used the printer friendly edition

on my wife's Sony e-Reader and it works fine.  It doesn't really work with the other editions, though.

I use a Kindle 3

I use a Kindle 3.  I just took the printer version of the June issue and sideloaded it.  I also used Calbre to convert it into a mobi file - that produced poor results.  The pdf version was much better.  I can use the enlarge functions off of the Aa key and I can read the text.

All that being said, I still would rather read on my laptop.

Keep up the great work.
