I have a weakness for Short Line/Incentive Per Diem Boxcars.   In additiion to a number of Bev Bel cars I've acquired, I also have a growing fleet of custom painted cars.

These two are Atlas Trainman Boxes done using some old Herald King decals:

Currently in the works are cars for St. Johnsbury & Lamoille County; Vermont Northern; Virginia Midland; and Mike Calfalone's Woodsville Terminal.

I agree: the Incentive Per

I agree: the Incentive Per Diem cars are fascinating. Years ago the Railmodel Journal did a long series of articles on them. I should go back and count the various road-names/companies represented: could easily be 50 or maybe even 100. It's hard not to like cars lettered for railroads like the "Meridan and Bigbee".

Turtle Creek Central

In addition to the prototype IPD Boxes I'm doing, I also painted a couple of boxcars for MR's Turtle Creek Central project layout:
