I spent several years working on and off in Chile.  There is an extensive narrow gauge network in the northern part of the country.  I managed to see a little of it.  More here:

Thanks for sharing. Looks like a fascinating country.  Love the trains.  Some of the terrain looks a bit like Mars!

Very cool indeed. I can't imagine working at 16000 ft! I know what it is like at 10,000 ft doing some work in the Colorado Rockies and that was challenging enough. Thanks for sharing.

Very intersting, thanks for sharing

I enjoy seeing operations from other parts of the world.  The terrain is very surreal.  The narrow gauge caboose would make a good subject to model.

Thanks for sharing Marc. I have always been fascinated by Chile's various terrains, but never noticed its trains.
