Image posted OK

...only possible gotcha is that the "Width" value in the Image Posting dialog may not have been set to "750"?

If this is done, the "as viewed by default" version will display completely on all devices, while the original "full size" version will be available via auto-generated link (Right-click, "Open Link in New Tab").

Apart from that, the turnout itself looks great from here!

Yes, fix the width

Yes, fix the width. Re-edit your post, click on the image and select the Image box (looks like a TV with a green plus on the bottom right).

In the dialog box, go down and change the width to 750 ... the height will adjust automatically. Then press OK. That will shrink the image to fit into the forum display panel.

Press save to save your edit and you're done!

. . .

Excuse my ignorance but what is that .It looks to be a single to single with only a side step being done.

It's a scale track for weighing cars at some shippers but mostly at yards

Joe I went to find the edit button not there

Clicked on the photo can't get any adjustments so now what as all I have is my phone for pics

Because as soon as the first post by another modeler the edit button disappeared

Editing the OP

Dear Vince,

It is there, but I can totally understand if it may not be "Hey, I'm over here!" obvious...

Recipe:
(Assuming you are the OP )

- Scroll all the way UP the thread
- Find the Thread Title text
(large dark font, Example below shows title "...So I needed a Loco Cradle in a hurry...")

- look directly under the Title, (In example below, under the word "needed"),
and find the 3x light Grey Tabs, labelled L> R

"View"   "Edit"    "Clone"

(YES, like many tabs on this version of MRH forum, they look "greyed out" and thus appear Inactive,
but they Are actually functional...   )

- Click the "Edit" tab

T_Marked.PNG

- The OP post flips into "EDIT" mode.

Scroll down to the "Body" box,
scroll thru the OP message,
locate the image that needs adjusting,
and dbl-click the Image
(Below example shows the image Selected/single-clicked, and highlighted in BLUE)

d_Marked.PNG

- The "Image Properties" dialog box will appear.

Ensure the "Image Info" tab is selected,
Set the "WIDTH" value to "750"
(The Height should auto-adjust to suit, so your picture doesn't warp out of shape)

and click "OK" to confirm the change

K_Marked.PNG

- The system will return you to the "Edit" mode. Scroll to the bottom of the page,
and click "SUBMIT" to confirm the edits/changes to the Posted OP message.

Screenshots above taken from a recent post I am the OP of,
appears working here in Chrome browser on Win7, Win10, and Android devices...

PS worth noting that the above is subject to change in the next week or so, once MRH migrates to the New World. However, still a useful process to be comfy with, you never know what kind of Forum Software you might run into while wandering around the Internet...

Edit photo

You might also try right clicking on the photo then change the image properties box that pops up to less than 750 width...DaveB

Still nice...

Your track work or not, still nice.

BL2's:

For me the jury's still out on that idea. Though I designed the paper roster to allow for a quartet of BL2's, they were supposed to be traded off in the early 60s on the trio of GP20's that also exist on paper only (at this time). It' s only recently that I'm considering altering the paper roster so that one is left, and it was patched up and pressed back into service on account of the extreme need for serviceable engines on the KC&G. (The reorganization is showing encouraging signs with some older customers starting to return, and new customers coming online.)

Thus, I'm watching the Bay (as I think to/inclined to) for an Walthers "blue box" undec BL2. Should one show up, it will then be time to make a decision.

PA1's:

That's another engine type I allowed for on the paper roster (four A/B sets), and I do want one... but not right now. My '64 roster paper indicates there's only two PA1's in service, but I may alter that to show there's only one, so my model of same will be the last PA1 in service. In the real world, it was winding down for PA1's in my region during the mid-60s. IF I decide to pick up a PA1, it will likely be a recent release Walthers w/LokSound Select therein. (And bite the bullet and try to get the details/windows off/out and strip the fool thing. Undec would be SO much better, but that would have to be an older Life Like Proto 2000. However, I want that pre-installed LokSound Select found in the Walthers.)

Hm. I got a bit verbose (again).

Ah well, there you go: A novelette!
