Well, not to much to explain, as that's what the video is for. I decided to focus on industrial "what if" shortline railroading as an experiment, until I finish the rest of my layout. It's operationally enjoyable and is inspiring me to get more work done on the sections I have built, so I'd call that success.

So you’ve decided to scratch a freelancing itch? Is that what we’re hearing?

That's correct, Joe, I've had

That's correct, Joe, I've had the Adirondack & Lake Champlain railroad in my head for a few years now and I thought this was a good time to "try it out".

Lancaster Central RR

Something relatively easy to change / reverse.

I changed focus a number of times in my teens. Even scales. I always ended up with a new track plan and scraped the old one off the wood train board.

It is interesting how a prototype based / simple sincere layout can represent multiple railroads by simply changing the locomotives and caboose's.

I finally ended up protolancing an independent existence for a local railroad.
