Areial?

Unfortunately my layout design precludes aerial photography.

Except in the quarry helix.

DaveB,

Still be nice to see one of your trains from above. I have a thing for roof details just like I do with undercarriage details.

To us yanks …

To us yanks, an aerial is an antenna. So that last photo is the correct one for those of us on this side of the pond.

slightly overhead view of my old BeNdTrack layout, in the process of being set up. the overall area was about 20 x 20 feet. This was in a empty storefron that was being used for the community treelighting festivities.

@ Joe and Deemi

@Joe

Deemi and I are on the same side of the pond, just that we are a few KM north of you.

@Deemi

I am in N scale and the quarry is 48" x 48"x18"

So that would be 240' in N scale.

As good as I can get...

I guess I'm one of the few people with a 'finished' layout bigger than a module who can get a overhead photo of the whole deal (only missing a few inches on each end):

Thanks Dave! Glad you enjoyed the scene!

Here's the view from above, out in front of Doan Towers this time in colour.

Well

Since my layout happens to be standing up against the wall, I figured this would be easy to take a photo of from "above" - though no trains.

I tried to remove the clutter beside it, hence the odd shape.

No drones here

so I went to the party store and they had a sale on helium balloons (pink, hooray it's a girl type of stuff) so I sent them up with an expendable camera for ballast.

Got a favor to ask. With the jet stream headed toward the east I figure my camera is probably coming across Iowa about now. You Iowa Interstate folks might have a chance to snag it and send it back my way. 'preciate it.
