This is the next update on the lighting project for my Tulsa Union Depot. First, all of the trains in Staging Yard B (just below the Depot) had to be moved for the installation of the control panel (revised from the previously shown panel) as well as for protection from the drilling debris for the installation of the wiring from the passenger platforms. This coming week I plan to hook up all of the platform lights and perform an in-place lighting test. I am also re-planning some of the lighting for the depot building as I had missed planning lights for the doors on both the main and lower floors and covered exits on the main floor. Hopefully I will get some additional lights on order and get them in late next week.

Yes, I know that this same project could have been done either with cheap LEDs off the web or eBay and/or fiber optics, but I like the modularity of the Woodland Scenics Just-Plug lighting system which is very similar to the way that I did the wiring for my layout.

Note: As of 17 November, a successful lighting test has been completed with the passenger platforms. I am currently working on the station building but was slowed a bit as I had to order some additional supplies. The entire project should be completed and installed the week after Thanksgiving.

I hope everyone has a safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
