It's another week . . . post 'em if you got 'em.  There were quite a few late-comers in last week's post.  Check them out, then come back here afterward.

The famous Reading

7_095108.jpg Crusader. This version is one of the "toughest" to find HO models, ever. Produced for a very short time in the late 1940's by Penn Line. Production ended due to the complexity of its fabrication and the company owners wanting to concentrate on the locomotives of the PRR.

This is one of the last

This is one of the last photos taken on my layout before it was removed from the house. The layout is presently in a dumpster temporarily parked in the driveway as the entire lower level of our home is being remodeled. The model is a stock Trix/Marklin USRA Mikado that I weathered several years ago. It is one of fewer than ten locomotives I have kept for use on the new layout I will be building.

Thanks guys

The rolling stock is for a regular customer.  The GP38 is one my oldest son has in his collection.  When I got the IC stuff to weather I figured the GM&O power would be fitting for some photos. Glad you enjoyed them I appreciate the good word. I took the shots later in the day than I wanted so the sun didn’t cooperate like I hoped but I liked these.   Thanks again, Steve

Inspirational photos

Every week there are motivating shots that show an average modeler like me what can be done.

Always an interesting PRR shot. Kind of sad story from James Six. Makes me wish he lived near me so I could dumpster dive on the old layout. Mountain Goat reminds that you have to pay attention to stuff like road crossing signals if you want a realistic look.

Really nice touch with ice on the phone/electrical lines. Those boxcars look so long they should be stenciled "for use on straight tracks only".

Starting to add details to the newer module. A pooch in the yard along with a model T project and a trash can to burn garbage in. Plus a board to cross the ditch.

a scene...

Hi Deemiorgos,

I  made this boat out of paper and without any plan, but yes, it could be.

Never really thought of it for it was intended just as a little fishing boat. I need to check out this subject. Interesting...hmm.

Thanks for pointing out !

Filip,

That is one incredible paper boat! Did you document how you made it?

It looks like a small version of this lobster boat.
