Other sources I would suggest

I have no experience with DrDuino but I offer a couple other resources that helped me learn my way...

Paul McWhorter on you tube. He is a teacher and offers numerous videos and is excellent at guiding in the software and understanding the process.

DroneBot Workshop, website and youtube, Bill offers arduinos, Pis and more in easy to follow projects, explains things well and provides examples with code.

Youtube had lots of videos for using arduinos with loconet, CMRI, NCE and DCC++ etc.

Toms Trains and Things, lots of arduino projects

Motorhomer has good info on CMRI

Explaining Computers, Chris has some great videos on arduinos and more, plus a sense of humor that keeps its light.

Enjoy... but warning, they are fantastic modules and addictive once you get a feel for their functions. I replaced a Digitrax signal system with Arduino NANO CMRI modules.
