Ken Rice

The Cumberland Mine Railroad is anisolated line that runs between their coal mine and an unloading spot to transfer the coal into barges.  A railroad that hauls only coal and lots of it has problems with coal dust, and spillage especially around the unloader.  What I didn’t know until I saw this video is how they deal with it so they can keep the track maintained properly.

Love to see Mike Budde building one in HO....  And, maybe James Regier motorizing it and installing a sound unit!

Surprised …

They wouldn't fit up a much wider attachment, with a narrow slit.  You know, like the ones for floors with regular vacuums.  
 

What a crappy job - hope he has good earplugs.
