This is an update on the lighting project for the Tulsa Union Depot on my ATSF Paradigm Division. In the previous post (Update 5A) on this project, the plan for installing the components of the Woodland Scenics Just-Plug lighting system was shown.

In this post, Part 5B, the technique on how the lights were installed on the passenger platforms is shown. I have previously used Woodland Scenics Just-Plug system in several buildings in the Union Station area and really like the modularity of it.

I am about halfway done on all of the passenger platform installs at this time. I used some of the techniques used by my friend Heath from Human(c)ity Junction ( https://www.youtube.com/c/HumancityJu...) for the lighting installs. However, I used Aileen's Tacky Glue instead of the Modge Podge that Heath used to attach the wires to the roof support posts. Once the wires were glued to the roof support posts, they were painted a pullman green color to match the post.

One thing to be aware of is that the N-scale posts can break very easy. In fact, I did break 5 of them during the assembly and gluing. I was able to glue 2 of them back together in place but the other 3 were broken too much and were tossed.

The next update will show the testing of the platform lights as well as some if not all of the bridge and station lights.
