I just watched episode 11 of Reality Reduced. In it, Leo Bisknell talks a little bout using the FastTrax jigs to produce handlaid turnouts. He doesn't deminstrate how one is made but he does ay tha he will do that in a later episode. He does mention that the jigs aren't worth the money if all you wnat is two or three. I would love to give URL for this video but I do't hapoen to have it handy. You can find it by searching for Reality Reduced.

Youcan find plenty video clips at their website building a turnout.

He's correct though about the financial issue though.  I considered buying a JIG for my mainline turnouts, but I use two sizes and only have like 4 in one size (#6) and 6 in another size (#10). At $200 for a kit and another $115 for the 2nd jig, it's very expensive.  You need something 15 turnouts per size to break even and then save money with using the jigs.
