Looks like a lot of room

I'm curious - you've built and finished walls, or at least it looks like that to me, but you're going to have to cut holes in them for access from room to room, right?

I guess I'm wondering why, if you had a plan, you didn't build the holes into the walls?

@ Jeff

Jeff,

The only walls I built are in the shop and removed the french doors between the layout room and lounge. The shop walls are all new and the layout is not runnig though them.  Even the best of planning can shift a plan so why rush into a hole that you may end up patch up if your plan has to shift. The helix will be the anchor point once that starts I will cut the holes for the helix and the the hole for the east end of the staging yard. The last 2 holds will not be cut till I am ready to do the sugar mill. Mesure twice cut once (plus I can't see the studs in the wall between the lounge and the layout room best to get the staging yard layout then pland for the stud.) The holes to be cut in the shop are framed out I did not show,  but that much is planed out buy a fair question.

Love getting in...

...on the ground floor of a new layout! You've established a great foundation there and am looking forward to following your progress!

What part of the country are you located in now?

Good luck!
