Purchased some Atlas C55 N scale #5 turnouts.

Noticed the point rails look rough, anybody else have any issues with the latest run?

I did a rolling test with some freight cars to see if they derail, maybe they will be fine.

Please do not reply with how I need to build my own turnouts, please do not reply this is why I should be in G scale. Please do not reply switch to Kato uni track.

This is a questions for anybody using the latest run of Atlas C55 #5 n scale turnouts.

Quality issues

I have noticed over the years Atlas has some QC issues with its Code 55 track.

I purchased some of this run as well, nothing on a layout yet to give any feedback on how they work. I think this has come up in the past here on MRHF

Think before you post, try to be positive, and you do not always have to give your  opinion……

My whole layout is built with

My whole layout is built with Atlas C55. If I ever build another one I will switch to PECO. Atlas C55 has too many issues.

What constitutes “ latest run”?

I use Atlas N scale code 55 on my layout, there might be an issue here and there. I just fix them. But I understand that paying for a product, it should work from the get go.

maybe then give them a once over,,then report the issues to Atlas.

Atlas quality

I didn't use #5 turnouts on my N scale layout but I was very happy with their #7 and #10 turnouts and their code 55 flextrack. That was a few years ago but  hopefully they haven't declined in quality?......DaveB
